LWV of Virginia (LWV-VA)

The League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area is one of over a thousand Leagues across the nation. When you join the local league, you also become a member of the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) and the League of Women Voters of Virginia (LWV-VA), and receive information and participate in League decisions on all three levels of government.

Complete information about the LWV of Virginia, including positions, studies and advocacy at the state level, is available at League of Women Voters of Virginia. During the Virginia General Assembly session, the LWV-VA holds weekly Women’s Legislative Round Tables.

Attend our Women’s Legislative Round Tables virtually or in
person in theTidewater Room of the Truist Building in Richmond. These are held every Wednesday at 8:30 am when the General Assembly is in session.
