League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area

"The League of Women Voters encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy."

The League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area is one of over a thousand Leagues across the nation. When you join the local league, you also become a member of the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) and the League of Women Voters of Virginia (LWV-VA), and receive information and participate in League decisions on all three levels of government.
